This is an exciting time to join a well-known hotel group, with responsibility for two properties, as a Sales Office Manager managing a reactive sales team.
Reporting into the General Manager, you will work closely ensuring key decisions are made using your previous conference office knowledge. Leading a team of fifteen people you will be responsible for ensuring conversion rates are hit, events are planned effectively and to a high standard including large conferences, exhibitions and evening banquets. You will use your leadership skills to grow, mentor and lead your team to achieve and over achieve conference and events revenue, maximising all sales and upsell opportunities. Part of your role will include working in conjunction with the Revenue Manager to forecast, budget and set/revise pricing strategy to grow events revenue.
This role would suit a self-motivated and experienced manager who strives to exceed exceptional results through the management of their team but isn’t afraid to be hands on, managing some of the larger events.
