Karen
Brodie
Karen began her hospitality career as a Forte Management Trainee
after completing her HND at Bournemouth University in Hotel and Catering
Management.
She spent 5 years at The Berystede
Grand Hotel at Ascot, as F&B Manager and Conference and Banqueting
Manager. Karen achieved the position of Deputy General Manager at FJB
Hotels before joining Thistle Hotels as Area Sales Manager.
Karen has worked alongside many leading hotel operators, sourcing key
personnel for the past 6 years.
Karen’s dedication in identifying
exceptional senior personnel has delivered a loyal base of VPs and board
level executives across the hospitality spectrum. Her methodology spans
networking, headhunting, covering a wide spectrum of sectors, competency
based interviewing to behavioural mapping, to ensure the widest possible
selection of competitor sets and industry partners, which produce
lasting results.
Karen prides herself in analyzing
candidate behaviour, identifying and championing change across her
